Tour began, winter came – or did it?

Hi everyone!

Finally we started our Christmas Tour 2008! It feels wonderful to drive around Finland for a change, since we've been travelling all around the world for the whole year! It also feels like all the people are already in a Christmas mood and listen to our singing with open hearts. It´s soooo nice to sing to you all, night after night...

We have already visited Hämeenlinna, Joensuu, Kuopio, Savonlinna and Pori, and tonight we´re in Rauma. I cannot put the cities or audiences in any order because everything has gone so well. I don´t want to analyze the programme too much either because there are still so many new audiences to hear it. One thing I can let you know: I´m sure that in the programme there's a little this and a little that to everybody. It´s also a good programme for calming down and having a break from all the stressfull things that may occur before Christmas. So I'd like to thank all the audiences so far and warmly welcome all the new ones!

Some personal stuff:

The very day that our tour started, Finland was hitten by the biggest snowstorm that I remember in ages. It was kind of scary but in my heart it reminded me from my childhood: snow and Christmas – that's how it used to be. So I was thinking to go out and play in the snow or maybe build an igloo... well, maybe the concerts first. :)

I also got another idea from my past: I have started knitting again after 15 years. I´m happy that we visited Kuopio just last Wednesday because there I got guided by my dear Grandma. After that I´ve already knitted four caps and one and a half mitts. It really got out of control... and Essi is into this too. The boys have been joking that maybe they should put up a little joiner's workshop in the back of the van. So, if you see some weird handmade stuff beside our CD sales table you will all know now where they come from and why...
